The AI-Tells Checklist: 25 Signs a Draft Still Sounds Generated
A draft can be grammatical, structured, and still unmistakably machine-shaped. This checklist names the patterns: the triplets, the hedged openers, the 'it's not X, it's Y' reflex, the symmetrical paragraphs, the closing summary nobody asked for.
- See what readers see: the 25 patterns that mark a draft as generated, named and numbered
- Fix it two ways: a by-hand fix for every tell, plus a bounded redirect prompt when you want the assistant to do the repair
- Finish in five minutes: a final pass you can run on any draft before it leaves the chat

Why do I need to subscribe to download it?
The PDF is the thank-you for joining the Vibe Writing letter. Everything inside the AI-Tells Checklist is also published on this site for free, so the subscription buys you the convenience of one formatted file, plus the letter itself: one technique, one prompt, one honest example, a few times a month.
Is it really free?
Yes. No card, no trial, no upsell inside the PDF. Vibe Writing Hub is published by Orwellix, a writing workspace, and the letter occasionally mentions it with a clear label. That is the whole business model, and it is stated on the About page.
What happens to my email address?
It goes to our email provider with the date and the download you asked for, so we can send the right file and keep the list segmented. We do not sell or rent it. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you. The Privacy page has the details.
Can I share the PDF with my team or students?
Yes, for non-commercial use with the attribution left in. Please do not sell it or strip the credit. If a whole team wants it, pointing them at this page is easiest and means they get the newsletter too, but forwarding the file is fine.
Will it be updated?
When the prompts or lessons on the site change substantively, the PDF is regenerated and subscribers get a note with the new link. The edition date is printed on the cover.
